Boomrest Transportation of the Largest HLV in Taiwan
Giant is honored to participate in the construction process of the Green Jade, the largest heavy lift vessel in Taiwan's shipbuilding history.
This case has an unprecedented special boom design. Mammoet-Giant’s strong technical analysis team participated in planning the transport strategy in the early stages of the design.
Based on the data provided by the customer, our engineering team has planned to use of a special pallet configuration, along with the assembly of the transport beams. Finally, we coordinated with the tide schedule to ensure a smooth transport of the Boomrest from the barge to quayside storage area.
